Workshop Description: Most of us wish to experience meaningful relationships with the important people in our lives. Based on painful experiences in the past, and in an attempt to protect ourselves, we agree to unspoken contracts in our relationships that often create distance from those we love. Our dilemma consists of how much we are willing to forgo the feelings of comfort and safety in our protected state in order to allow ourselves the profound connections for which we yearn – with ourselves and with others. The question not only becomes whether to connect or to protect, but more specifically how to find a balance between the two. (Please remember to register for this workshop – call 2-6766)
