Volunteer Clearing House
The Volunteer Clearing House (VCH) is CU-Boulder's volunteer
placement center, linking students with the community
since 1965. Building on the idealism and enthusiasm of CU
students, VCH serves to connect individuals and groups with
opportunities to contribute to the community in a variety of
fields. By promoting volunteerism, VCH aims to enhance the
educational experience of studentsÑbroadening perspectives
and linking them to first-hand practical experience in fields
such as education, health, the arts, environment, aging, culture,
language, law, and more. CU-Boulder staff and faculty can also
use VCH as a link to community programs when planning or
enhancing service-learning courses or specific volunteer initiatives
on campus. VCH mobilizes campus involvement in the
community by offering volunteer referrals and service events
throughout the year, as well as leadership, community-building,
and experiential opportunities.
