Office of Parent Relations
The Office of Parent Relations administers university programs
that meet the needs of CU-Boulder parents and provides
staffing support for the CU Parents Association. Every
parent of a full-time CU student is a member of the Parents
Association. In addition to managing grants and scholarship
programs (for both freshmen and continuing students), the
Parents Association hosts a variety of activities for CU-Boulder
parents and their students, including FamilyWeekend in the
fall and summer orientation dinners. Parent Relations and the
CU Parents Association partner to facilitate and encourage
communication between parents and the university. Essential
to this effort are CU Parent, a quarterly newsletter published to
inform parents of current campus news; a parent website; and
the CU Parent E-Connection, a periodic e-mail designed to
provide updates on programs, policies, issues, and news of
particular interest to parents.
