Disability Services
Our mission is to provide students with disabilities the tools,
reasonable accommodations, and support services to fully
participate in the academic environment. Furthermore, our
mission is to promote an accessible and culturally sensitive
campus through outreach and by building partnerships with the
university community and beyond. The staff assists students as
they develop self-awareness and independence, learn selfadvocacy,
and create a network of resources. Once students
request services and provide disability documentation, their
request is reviewed to determine if accommodations are
warranted. Services and accommodations are determined on a
case-by-case basis and may include individual meetings, exam
accommodations, note taking, interpreting, captioning,
materials in alternate format, assistive technology, and/or
mobility access.
