Akirah Bradley

Akirah J. Bradley has more than 10 years of experience in student affairs and has served in various leadership positions at the University of California, Berkeley and on Semester at Sea. Highlights of her experience include: student development, student conduct, behavioral intervention team management, procedural establishment and crisis response. Akirah is recognized as an administrator who leads with integrity, equity, compassion, and student advocacy at the center.

Akirah earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania and M.Ed. in Higher Education Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. She is also pursuing her Ed.D. (Doctorate in Educational Leadership) at the University of California, Davis. Her research focus is qualitative exploration of administrators’ healing and self-care in the aftermath of crisis. She has presented at national and regional conferences, taught university courses, and published articles in higher education journals.
