About the Vice Chancellor

Deb has 29 years’ experience working in higher education student services at three Universities. She served as the Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students for Student Affairs at CU, Assistant Vice Chancellor and Executive Director of Housing & Dining Services at CU, the Director of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Northern Colorado, and as the Director of Housing at the University of Wyoming.
At each campus she has worked collaboratively to build strong student services, programs, facilities and administrative services which contribute to student success.
Upon graduating with her first Bachelor’s degree she served in the United States Peace Corps at the Schistosomiasis Research and Control Center in Palo, Leyte, Philippines as a community health educator and faculty member at Divine University, Tacloben, Leyte.
Deb’s husband Randy is a CU Alumni, 1980 in Environmental Biology. They have two children, one who is a senior at CU Boulder and a new baby buffalo grandson!
