Dave Citron is a Foreign Service Officer currently working in the Office of Bilateral Trade Affairs at the State Department.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Colorado in Boulder and did graduate studies in International Affairs at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.  Prior to joining the Foreign Service, he was an officer in the Army Reserve and lived for five years in Moscow working for the U.S. Embassy and for a British law firm.  Since joining the Foreign Service in 1999, Dave has served as a Consular and Economic officer at the U.S. Embassies in Warsaw and London and as a Political officer at the Office of the High Representative in Sarajevo.  In Washington, Dave served as the Mongolia desk officer from 2006 to 2008 and now covers Europe in the Economic Bureau’s Bilateral Trade Affairs office.  He is originally from Atlanta, GA and loves to act in community theatres. This event will be in English and is free and open to the public.

October 9-30, 2009, Latin American and Spanish Film Series: Through the Eyes of Children. Each Friday of October a different film from Latin American and Spain hosted by a member of the Spanish and Portuguese Department will be shown in the Humanities Building. The films range from Comedy to Thriller and begin each Friday at 6:30 p.m. They are free and open to the public. Click here to view the poster for specific details.
