The Colorado Review of Hispanic Studies The CRHS is a refereed journal devoted to the literatures and cultures of the Hispanic and Lusophone world. Sponsored by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at CU-Boulder, the CRHS is published annually, each fall semester. The CRHS was established in 2002 with the goal of becoming an influential, international forum for scholars writing in the field of Spanish and Latin American cultural criticism. Currently directed by Profs. Juan Pablo Dabove and Javier Krauel, it seeks first rate articles which show an appreciation for theoretical and historical approaches to the literary and cultural traditions of both Latin America and Spain. Starting in the Fall of 2010, each issue will feature a general (non-thematic) section (for the call for papers, click here and a thematic dossier. The next dossier, on Latin American and Iberian cinema, will be guest edited by Prof. Fernando Fabio Sánchez (for the call for papers, click here).
Starting with volume 8, Fall 2010, CRHS will be published solely as an e-journal, free of charge. The forthcoming issue, Fall 2009, will be available in both digital and print formats.
