Climbing TogetherAs part of a larger campus initiative to make CU Boulder the nation’s top university for innovation, a new course is being offered this fall on Designing Social Innovations. The course is intended for undergraduate students who are passionate about developing viable solutions to some of society’s most complex and pressing problems. It will introduce students to design thinking, a human-centered method of problem solving, as well as explore the role that networks play in nurturing creativity and mobilizing support for social innovations within and across organizations in the age of digitized media. As such, this course should be of interest to all students who aspire to bring about positive social change through their roles as citizens and/or workers. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. in the Idea Forge (33 Fleming). For more information, please contact the instructor, Professor Don Grant.
