We're excited to begin getting to know Petunieae in the field, starting with those that live in southern Brazil. Julienne is leading this trip, which we are carrying out in collaboration with the fantastic Dr. Loreta Frietas of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and her postdoctoral fellow, Sara Hartke. We look forward to discovering what these taxa can teach us about the evolution of flower color!
