The Ski Bus program is run through the CU Transportation Program, a branch of the Environmental Center. The program was created in order to help the student body better enjoy the wonderful skiing and snowboarding that Colorado has to offer, and also to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and traffic congestion caused by students driving on their own to the ski areas and back.
We publish many of our program reports and plans to allow other college campuses or similar environments to evaluate our program model to help decide if a similar program would be feasible in their situation. These reports are available on the CU Environmental Center's website.
