Michael Dubson and The Convection Connection

Each year, Science Discovery engages Boulder faculty to speak at the Colorado Science Convention for teachers. Faculty members are able to reach large groups of teachers with up-to-date scientific research and exciting demonstrations that can be used by teachers in their classrooms. In October 2001, Michael Dubson of the physics department presented The Convection Connection: the Physics of Thermodynamics. Originally featured by Channel 4 News (KCNC) in October 2000, this curriculum with videotape is now available through Science Discovery. Dubson highlights heat, density, and convection activities.
