Winter Wonders

Winter is an amazing season.  Don't crawl into bed and hibernate until spring - come discover a world that few explore!  Have you ever wondered where all the insects disappear to in winter? Why are moose the original snow machines? Where do those incredible winter winds in Boulder come from? We will find answers to those questions and more while we observe local wildlife in our backyard, learn how plants and animals deal with winter, and become junior winter weather forecasters. We will also create critters warmer than a down covered goose in a frozen pond.
