Fossils, Crystals, & Rocks – A Field Class

Join us for a full day exploring the world of minerals and fossils. Learn simple tests to identify common rocks and minerals. Make your own fossils, go on rock and fossil hunts, and try your luck panning for gold. You'll make crystals and your own mineral kit. We'll visit Red Rocks, a natural, geologically formed open-air amphitheater set in the Rocky Mountain Foothills. Come prepared to hunt for fossils and collect a variety of rocks.
