The Sharer Scholars Program was a scholarship offered to newly admitted resident transfer students who transfered to CU Boulder from a Colorado college or university and planned to graduate within two years.
The scholarship donors believe transfer students with grit, talent, motivation and drive can succeed at CU Boulder and that financial need should not be a barrier to success. The Sharer Scholars Program provides talented students with the financial, social and emotional support needed to successfully complete their degrees and prepare for careers after graduation. Scholarship Amount:
$8,000 per year (up to 2 years; $16,000 total)
Renewal Requirements
To renew the Sharer Scholars Program for Transfer Students:
- Continue to be a Colorado resident for tuition purposes
- Complete the FAFSA each year (or ASSET financial aid application for undocumented students) and demonstrate financial need
- Meet the Office of Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
Program Requirements
Recipients of the Sharer Scholarship are required to participate in a one credit 'Transfer Success Seminar' and participate in periodic meetings about the program.
