Scholarship Essentials

You will want to know the requirements for maintaining and renewing any scholarships that you receive. These requirements typically include a minimum GPA, credit hour enrollment status and program or service participation. Additionally, you must be making satisfactory academic progress toward your degree to remain eligible for any financial aid including scholarships.

Here are the essentials for maintaining and renewing your scholarship.

Terms & Conditions

You will want to know the individual scholarship requirements for maintaining and renewing any scholarships that you receive.

Scholarships & Your Financial Aid

If you receive a scholarship, it may impact your other financial aid awards.

Scholarships & Your Bill

Scholarships are credited to your tuition and fee account approximately 10 days prior to the start of the semester if you are in good standing.

Satisfactory Academic Progress

Scholarships awarded by CU-Boulder require students to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). SAP for scholarships is the same as the SAP policy for students receiving federal financial aid.

Releasing Information to Donors

Scholarship Services will send an official transcript to your donor on your request.

Graduate Students

Most CU-Boulder graduate funding is administered through the Graduate School. Please check with the Graduate School or your academic department for information on maintaining and renewing your graduate funding.
