Heather Mueller was born in Berlin, Germany, grew up in Salem, New
Hampshire and currently resides in Boulder, Colorado. She has just
completed her thesis on the transgressive/playful genuis of Harryette
Mullen, her favorite poet, and will graduate in May 2007 from Naropa
University with a BA in Writing and Literature. She is currently the
managing editor of Bombay Gin, Naropa's literary journal, and works as
editorial assistant at elephant magazine. She teaches writing
workshops at Jarrow Montessouri School and is very interested in using
contemporary poetry to bring creative and critical thinking back into
public education. After graduation, her goal is to learn Spanish.
