My name is Colton Smith. I was born in Lafayette, Colorado about ten miles away from Boulder.  I have just completed my first year at CU, and like many other students, I find myself at this time without any real ideas for a career or major.  In the end I most likely see myself with some sort of environmental degree, but I’m hesitant to declare just yet in case I completely change my mind.  I love doing anything outdoors: snowboarding, camping, and hiking… anything in the mountains.  I have grown up in Boulder my entire life and would be happy if I never moved away. Although I do want to travel all over the world, I will always come back here.
