I am a Junior, majoring in English and Fine Arts. I hope to work in the advertising field, coming up with designs and creating images for advertising campaigns. I started writing poetry last semester when I took my Intro to Creative Writing class. I truly enjoy it, though I must say I don't have much experience and have not read many poems that are published, but I hope to explore more to improve my own writing. Most of my writings are reflections of my own life, the people around me, or significant events or idea that impacted me enough to write about. But of course sometimes they're just plain fiction and exaggerated situations.

Some things about myself: I was born in Semarang, Indonesia and lived there for 11 years. I have lived in Broomfield, Colorado since 1996. I love the outdoors, so I was grateful that my family ended up in Colorado. My single mother has raised me, my brother and my two sisters since I was four; I wanted to dedicate my opportunity to share some of my work to my mother, because without her I wouldn't even have the chance to attend college.
