I am a graduating senior in Communication. I created this piece as a creative component of a final project for my Contemporary Literature class. The purpose of this piece is to illustrate the brutality and monstrosity of rape. As a society we tend to forget about the realities of rape. We forget the physical harm to the victims, we forget men can be raped too, and we forget that women can be rapists! With this piece I hoped to illustrate these forgotten realities in a way that would Pierce our soul and remind us why rape is a crime against humanity.
