I am obsessed with geography. It could be because I come from Australia, live in Boulder and spend half the year in Prague. Lots of border-crossing. These pieces are from a current work-in-progress, tentatively titled Valentine to the United States of America. My chapbooks include O – A Conversation, Some Things – Poems and Translations and deportation poems, and I co-edited the anthology Civil Disobediences: Poetics and Politics in Action.
I am the director and a faculty member for Naropa University’s Summer Writing Program and Study Abroad Program in Prague. I’m also co-founder of Movie Star Press.
