Matt Troxel
Born and raised in Colorado, I am so grateful to have been constantly surrounded by so much beauty. I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Colorado at Boulder double majoring in Spanish for the Professions and French, with a minor in Business Administration. Whether through writing, acting, singing, or photography, I try to give a little bit of myself with everything I do. Art has the power to immortalize its subject, but I believe the more important function of art is to provide a glimpse of the artist's soul. When I take a photograph, I am not aiming to capture a moment in time, but rather to capture a part of myself in time. We as humans are ever-changing, and my photos allow me to see who I once was, who I am, and if I'm very lucky… I can begin to see the man I will become.
