Campus Alerts
Sometimes keeping yourself safe means making sure that you have emergency safety information at the right time. CU-Boulder notifies members of the community through campus alerts, but the system cannot work without your active participation.
You can get information about campus closures and other emergencies, through the following means:
- Text - Sign up today for real-time information sent straight to your mobile phone
- Web - Visit www.colorado.edu or CUConnect for detailed information and updates
- Hotline – Call the campus hotline at 303-492-INFO for recorded information and updates
- E-Mail – Check your official university e-mail account for important safety messages
IMPORTANT
While CU strives to provide necessary safety information via e-mail, depending on e-mail alone is NOT recommended. E-mails often take a considerable amount of time to be sent out to the entire campus community, and for certain situations it is simply not fast enough. Signing up for text alerts is an easy way to stay informed!
- Campus Text Alerts – Sign up now, it’s free and easy to use!
- Campus Closures – Wind, snow, rain, or shine, know when campus is closed!
- Emergency Preparedness – Know what to do in case of an emergency on campus
