Yoga & Pilates
The
word yoga means "union" or "yoke; uniting both body and mind. Like an exercise program, Hatha Yoga will strengthen, firm, tone,
and improve the health of your body. The practice of yoga will also do
much to heighten your well being. You will learn postures to develop spinal
alignment, increase strength and flexibility, and manage your body with
precision. Each class will include warm-up stretches, basic yoga asanas
(postures), and breathing techniques. Wear comfortable clothes that do
not restrict your movement. Classes will use belts, blocks, and blankets
as props.
No Class Friday, July 4th.
Beginning/Continuing

This class is for both the beggining yoga student and those continuing students
looking to refine their understanding of basic yoga postures and moves.
