Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy a drop-in?
Daily drop-ins can be purchased only at the Rec Center cashier.  The current drop-in fee is $3.00, and is valid for Group Fitness/Aerobics classes, Master's Swim, and Indoor Cycling only.  There are no daily drop-ins for Pilates, Yoga, or for any other class not listed above.

What is a "Fitpass" or "Cycle Pass"?

The Aerobics "Fitpass" is a semester length pass that allows you attend any aerobic/group fitness class anytime, all semester long.  The "Cycle Pass" allows you attend any number of Indoor Cycling classes as well as any aerobic/group fitness class, anytime, all semester long.

How do I get a refund, or transfer to another class?

Come to the tnstruction program to fill out a refund-request form. This should be done before the beginning of the third class for "full-semester-length classes".  No refunds will be issued for six-week or shorter term classes unless requested at least one business day prior to the start of class.  All approved refunds will be charged a 20% service fee.  For a transfer, come to the instruction program desk and talk to an employee. They will transfer you to another class, provided the class is not full, for a $1.00 service charge plus or minus the difference in class price.

Where is the instruction program desk located? Where is the aerobic studio located?

The instruction program desk is located upstairs next to the running track. The aerobics studio is next to the instruction program office, also located next to the running track.

Is there a restroom close to the aerobics studio?

Yes, it is located on the other side of the conference rooms. By following the windows that overlook the tennis courts and turning right before you reach the doors for the ice rink, you will find the restrooms.

If there are spots reserved for fitpasses, Cycle Pass, and drop-ins, is there is a possibility I might still be turned away from a class?

In classes that are full, fitpasses and drop-ins have places reserved. However, if everyone who is enrolled in the class shows up and there are already more people before you with fitpasses or drop-ins, you may be denied entrance. Note: For Indoor Cycling classes we cannot even guarantee a bike for enrolled participants once class has started.  As such, all participants are asked to arrive ten minutes prior to the start of class.
