Biomedical-IT Systems Manager

We enable Investigators to conduct research through the use of Information Technology. Our goal is provide researchers with the technology they need, when and where they need it. We are also strong advocates for subject privacy. Additionally, we provide the following services:

The GCRC network is securely connected to the university's network. We can provide a direct, secure connection to your department. This allows for flexible data management. Our network can also be accessed using CU's VPN service. Additionally, we provide the following technology resources:

  • Data storage and transfer
  • Remote Access and VPN accounts
  • Scan, Copy, and Print services
  • Wireless Access
  • Data Acquisition hardware and software
  • Data Analysis software
  • EMF controlled research environment

Biostatistician

Consultation with the Biostatistician regarding sample size determination and power issues is strongly advised prior to submission of a GCRC protocol. This consultation will ensure that your protocol application will meet the GCRC’s standards for study design and statistical soundness.

  • Study design
  • Sample size and statistical power calculations
  • Statistical analysis of data
