Once the Scientific
Advisory Committee (SAC) and the CU
Boulder Human Research Committee (HRC) approve
a protocol, informed consent must be obtained from
the research subjects before the research subject
can be admitted to the GCRC. Please note that
Informed Consent must be properly dated and signed
by the investigator as well as the study subject
to be valid. Consent forms are valid for only one
year. If the study lasts more than a year, the subject
must be reconsented.
For additional questions related to Informed Consent and the rights of research subjects, please contact Dr. Bill Byrnes, our Research Subject Advocate, at (303) 735-3056.
