Undergraduate in-state students who will exceed 145 eligible COF hours toward their degree may apply for additional terms of eligibility after they have used at least 120 COF hours.

Extensions may be granted by your instutiton and/or the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE).
You may apply for an extension to the COF lifetime limit for current or future semesters by submitting a completed COF Lifetime Limit Extension Request Form. All requests will be reviewed by the Office of the Registrar.
If you have already applied for and either been granted or denied an extension by your institution, you may apply for a CCHE Waiver Request for Extension of College Opportunity Fund Lifetime Credit Hour Limitation for past, current or future terms.
