Wednesday, October 23, 2013

Dear Student,

If you intend to graduate in December 2013, be sure to complete all the items below by the dates listed.

November 1: Deadline Apply for Graduation and Get Your Name in the Commencement Program
Your name will appear in the commencement program if you submit your application by this date and graduate. Under the Student tab in MyCUInfo, click Apply for Graduation, and complete the application. Be sure to correct your Diploma Name and Address. If you apply to graduate and then decide to graduate in another term, you can reapply in MyCUInfo.

December 20: Commencement Ceremony
For details about the ceremony, visit the Commencement site.

January 1: Update Your Diploma Name and Diploma Address
If you need to make any changes to your preferred Diploma Name or to the address where you would like your diploma mailed, you must do so via MyCUInfo. Click Apply for Graduation and follow the prompts (even if you have already applied) until you see your name and address listed, and edit them there. If you do not enter a Diploma Address in your MyCUInfo profile, your diploma will be mailed to your Home address.

January 24: Sign up For Direct Deposit To Receive Your Confirmation Deposit
In order to receive your Confirmation Deposit refund, minus any outstanding debt, you must sign up for direct deposit. The Bursar’s Office How To’s provides step-by-step instructions. Refunds will be directly deposited into your bank account approximately the first week of February. If you have questions about direct deposit, e-mail bursar@colorado.edu.

January 28: Clear All Financial Holds

In order to receive your diploma and transcript, all financial obligations (fines, tickets, fees, etc.) must be paid. You can view and pay your bill in MyCUInfo or at the Bursar’s Office in Regent 150. See payment instructions at the Bursar’s Office and email bursar@colorado.edu with questions about your bill.

February 1: Degrees Post To Transcript
Transcripts can be ordered online. For questions about transcripts, contact the Office of the Registrar at transcriptinfo@colorado.edu.

March 3: Diplomas Mailed
If you did not enter a Diploma address in your MyCUInfo profile, your diploma will be mailed to the Home address you have on file.

If you do not plan to graduate in December, please disregard this message. To find out graduation requirements, contact your department or advisor.

If you are graduating this term, the Office of the Registrar congratulates you on your academic achievement!
