We sent this email at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, to Main Campus, degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students (not law) who were eligible to enroll in summer classes and had not applied for May graduation.

Thinking about taking classes this summer? CU Summer Session has hundreds of classes available to help you earn credit toward your degree. Summer classes provide you the flexibility to lighten your course load in future semesters or help you stay on track toward graduation.

Summer Sessions are staggered to fit your schedule and, if your summer unexpectedly frees up, registration remains open through at least the first day of the session (view session calendars).

Session Dates & Instruction Formats

This summer, classes are available in multiple instruction modes: in-person, online, remote or hybrid. You can check your class's instruction mode using the summer class schedule.

  • Maymester: May 15–June 2
  • Session A: June 5–July 7
  • Session B: July 11–August 11
  • Session C: June 5–July 28
  • Session D: June 5–August 11
  • Augmester: August 7–24
  • Boulder Variable Session
