Prof. Sean Humbert is the Denver Business Challenge Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Davis and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Caltech. His fundamental training is in control and dynamical systems, and his main research interests are in robotics, autonomy, flight dynamics, estimation and control. Dr. Humbert is a member of the DARPA Microsystems Exploratory Council (MEC) and is an AIAA Associate Fellow. He is the recipient of the AIAA National Capital Section Hal Andrews Young Scientist/Engineer Award and an ARO Young Investigator Award.
