  • Adding an Indoor Turf, Multi-Activity Gym for programmed and informal recreation
  • Adding an Outdoor Aquatics Facility & Deck Area
  • Replacing/Upgrading Building HVAC, Roof, Fire Suppression Systems and Access
  • Adding a Wellness & Athletic Training Suite for drop-in and program usage

  • Building a state-of-the-art Climbing Gym with Bouldering Area
When will the expansion and renovation be finished?

Locker Rooms

Will there always be a locker room open during construction?
Yes! Temporary facilities will be provided by dividing the Women’s Locker Room while the new locker rooms are under construction.

No, demolition of the men’s locker room and changes in the women’s locker during the renovation prevents the rental of summer lockers.
Will I be able to rent a locker in Fall 2012?
Yes, you can rent a locker in the Fall.  Only small lockers will be available until new locker rooms are complete.
How many showers will there be in the new locker rooms?
There will be 14 showers in the dry locker rooms, including 1 ADA shower and 9 showers with attached dry changing areas.

Bike Racks

Where have all of the bike racks been relocated?
Bike racks have been added to the Rec Center Entrance. We added (2) more racks near the main entrance where the concrete benches used to be. We also added (4) bike racks to the concrete pad between Lot 380 and the Rec Lawn.

Bike racks have also been added to Lot 384 (north side of rec center).
