The itinerary for the week is as follows: *
Day 1: Arrive at the CU Recreation Center at 1
p.m., OP office. Welcome & introductions, depart to our base camp.

Day 2: Whitewater boating (inflatable two-person kayaks) the Colorado River. No experience necessary, relaxing and crazy fun!
Day 3: Drive to State Forest State Park and enjoy an introductory day of outdoor rock climbing in an alpine environment. Create a great evening meal and get to know your group.
Day 4: Backpack day one: intro to the Rocky Mountains. Camping on the trail.
Day 5: Backpack day two: incredible alpine lakes, mountains, and blue skies are the backdrop to this day in the Rockies. Camping on the trail.
Day 6: Backpack day three: day hike with the possibility of a peak climb. Camping on the trail.
Day 7: Backpack day four: hike out and drive to our Keystone base camp to clean up. Celebrate your hard work with a BBQ party and live music and all the orientation participants!
Day 8: Return to Boulder and wear your fashionable (and clean!) CU Outdoor Program T-shirt. CU in the Rockies will end promptly at 7:00 am on the front lawn of the Student Recreation Center.
