Beginning Kayak Pool Instruction
This three part beginning pool course will safely prepare you for river instruction. You will learn basic paddling strokes, braces and the Eskimo roll. You need to attend all three lessons as they build on themselves sequentially. Bring swimsuit, a warm layer since you will be in pool the entire time. All sessions are taught in Clare Small Pool.

Kayak Roll Session
Do you want to learn how to roll in a kayak or do you already know how and just want to fine-tune your skills? If so, join us for this two-hour pool session. Bring a swimsuit and warm layer.

Intro to River Kayaking
This day trip to Clear Creek Canyon in Golden is a great way to get introduced to the awesome world of white water kayaking. We will spend the day learning all details of running a river from, catching an eddy and peeling out, to scouting a rapid and then running them. All paddling gear is included in cost. Participants must have attended the pool class, or have been checked out at a roll session in order to participate.

Swift Water Rescue
This three part course will prepare any white water enthusiast in rescue techniques, both in and out of a boat. You will learn rescue theory and practice skills during the two evening sessions prior to spending a day at the river working on real life scenarios.
