Beginning Stream Fly-Fishing
Experience the exhilarating feeling of fly fishing. Fee includes instruction and all equipment. You must provide lunch, a fishing license (approximately $10), and your own transportation. This course includes a classroom session to learn basic skills, and a field day to practice on the water.The first session of every class meets the Thursday before your field day at the Outdoor Program Office. The second session will be on the river the weekend day listed below.

Intro to Fly Tying
Learn how to tie your own fly fishing flies for about a quarter a piece! You'll learn basic techniques and styles, body construction, winging, and how to interpret recipe patterns. This session will include a discussion on related entomology. Also learn where, how and why certain fly designs work. Fee includes everything you need.
