Challenge Course

Surfing on the Challenge Ropes Course

Welcome to the CU Challenge ropes course! We offer courses tailored to your group's needs. Whether you are a CU group, school district, business, or other, we can provide a unique learning opportunity through a series of activities involving problem solving, group decision making, leadership, team building and positive risk taking.

Our ropes course is located near Williams Village and consists of steel cables, ropes, and poles that are designed to present physical challenges from one foot to 42 feet off the ground. The course's primary goal is to provide opportunities for learning about team building and leadership, though each group that uses the course may have different goals, such as individual and group responsibility, self-discovery, communication and collaboration, or problem solving.
