Pre-Trip Meetings - The Intro to River Kayaking and Swift Water Rescue courses require attendance at a pre-trip meeting, which will provide you with information related to your enjoyment and safety in the activity. Pre-trip meetings are held in Outdoor Program Trip Planning Room or Resource Center. Failure to attend this meeting may result in loss of trip fees and inability to participate in the course.
Equipment - All equipment necessary for our kayak courses will be provided. In an effort to keep our costs down and limit the amount of cars used on our trips carpooling is required unless otherwise noted in the course description. Food is not provided and OP employees are instructors, not "guides" so plan to help out during the course.
