Most yogis will say their biggest challenge in their practice is mastering inversions. Once this fear is defeated, innumerable benefits begin to take place.
This 90 minute workshop will include a guided flow to warm up the body, specific preparatory poses to strengthen shoulders and improve balance, followed by an exploration of the mechanics of inversions like Headstand, Tripod Headstand, Shoulder Stand, Forearm Stand and Legs up the Wall.
Benefits of inversions include: improved circulation, improved mental awareness, core strength, lower blood pressure and stimulation of the endocrine system. It’s FUN to go upside down!
Some yoga experience required.
