At the CUCRC you can connect with others who are choosing to live substance-free. We know how to have a good time and we don’t use drugs or alcohol to do it.
Common myth: “Everyone in college drinks.”
Truth: “We don't! Join us!"
There are lots of different reasons why people choose to be sober. We welcome you, and we celebrate sobriety here at the CUCRC.
One of the most challenging parts of being sober while in college is “swimming against the stream.” At the CUCRC not only will you find other students who understand this, you will be a part of a community where sobriety is normal and accepted.
The CUCRC is a place where you know you wont have to worry about someone asking you if you want to drink or use, where you can have fun and hang out with others who are walking the walk. You can also get connected to a lot of other sober clubs and organizations, and substance-free activities and events through the Center.
OASIS at CU-Boulder
Oasis Club is a network of students seeking meaningful connections through a sober lifestyle. Join us to make friends, gather support, impact the university in meaningful ways, and connect with others who wish to create a vibrant community free from the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Oasis meets every Friday at 3:00 in the CUCRC for their Mate' Community Circle, which features a different discussion topic each week. Oasis is open to all CU students who are leading a sober life.
Phoenix Multisport fosters a supportive, physically active community for individuals who are recovering from alcohol and substance abuse and those who choose to live a sober life. Through pursuits such as climbing, hiking, running, strength training, yoga, road/mountain biking, socials and other activities, we seek to help our members develop and maintain the emotional strength they need to stay sober.
Phoenix Multisport has locations in Boulder, Denver, & Colorado Springs. Check out the Boulder Phoenix Multisport Calendar for their climbing, cycling, yoga and hiking schedule.
