Schedule + Support Meetings

The CUCRC lounge is available during open hours Mon-Fri for studying, to hang out, or for walk-in support, except when meetings are scheduled. Members with key access are welcome to use of the space outside of regular hours anytime during UMC Open Hours.

The Center is in Room 102 of the University Memorial Center at 1669 Euclid Ave. on the first floor to the left of The Connection Bowling Alley.

Support Meeting Descriptions

Below is a brief description of each group that currently meets in the CUCRC. Go to Find Support for a list of additional meeting groups and recovery support available in the local area.

Recovery Mind: Mondays at 4pm

Whether entering sobriety, maintaining recovery, or making other significant life changes, many practices can be helpful. Sometimes the mind can rebel against change or get stuck in old thought patterns, preventing us from moving forward. This weekly group introduces mindfulness practices, philosophy, and mental skills to focus the mind and help us move forward successfully. 

Recovery Talks: Tuesdays at 5pm

Open discussion about life in recovery. A different topic each week. Open to all paths of recovery.

STAG* Recovery Talks: Thursdays at 5pm

Open discussion about life in recovery for anyone that identifies as male/masculine. A different topic each week. Open to all paths of recovery.

Alcoholics Anonymous: Mondays 5:30pm: The People's Meeting of AA

Open AA Meeting - discussion format. All are welcome.

Alcoholics Anonymous: Wednesdays 9:00am: BYOBB Big Book Study.

 Open AA Meeting - group reading and discussion of the basic text of AA. All are welcome.

Gaming and Technology Addiction Recovery: Thursdays at 6:00pm 

Peer-led meeting for anyone with a desire to stop excessive use of technology, gaming and/or the internet and cultivate a more balanced lifestyle.
