"Deep Water Aerobics "
If you think working out in the water won't
challenge you the same as on land, you're right - it will probably challenge
you more! Studies show that "it's 12 times tougher to walk through water
than through air" (Self Magazine, July 1997). Wearing floatation belts,
deep water training allows you to do three workouts in one: aerobics,
muscle conditioning, and flexibility improvement, all at the same time,
and without the pounding associated with dry-land exercise.
