Yoga

The word yoga means "union." The union of the physical, mental, and spiritual self. Like an exercise program, Hatha Yoga will strengthen, firm, tone, and improve the health of your body. The practice of yoga will also do much to heighten your well being. You will learn postures to develop spinal alignment, increase strength and flexibility, and manage your body with precision. Each class will include warm-up stretches, basic yoga asanas (postures), and breathing techniques. Wear comfortable clothes that do not restrict your movement. Classes will use belts, blocks, and blankets as props.
