Fly Fishing

Beginning Stream Fly-Fishing
Experience the exhilarating feeling of stream fly fishing. Fee includes instruction and all equipment. You must provide lunch, a fishing license (approximately $10), and your own transportation. The first session of every class meets at the Outdoor Program Office at 6pm. The second meeting will be the following weekend and you will be on the river.

Beginning Fly Tying
Learn how to tie your own flies for about a quarter a piece! You'll learn basic techniques and styles including tailing, body construction, winging, and how to interpret recipe patterns. This session will include a discussion on related entomology. Also learn where, how and why certain fly designs work. Fee includes everything you need. Sessions are sequential, therefore, missing the first one will automatically cancel your registration.
