SUMMER 2009 CERTIFIED CLASSES
The Instruction Program is a Authorized Provider of the American Red Cross. All certification classes offered by the Student Recreation Center meet the standards for current American Red Cross Emergency Cardiovascular Care Guidelines.
In addition to the following classes, ask us about scheduling a First Aid/CPR session for your Student Group, Organization, or University Department. Call 303-492-1091 for more information.
Classes Meet in Conference Room #1 of the Student Recreation Center.
Community First Aid & CPR
This nine-hour Standard First Aid Course covers everything from burns and broken bones to choking and heart attacks. This is an extended course that includes adult, infant, and junior CPR. The fee includes your personal protection mask and all textbooks. Upon completion and passing, you will receive:
- Three-year American Red Cross certification in First Aid.
- One-year certification for Community CPR (basic cpr).
You must attend all classes to receive certification.
