SPRING 2012 YOGA

The word yoga means "union" or "yoke"; uniting both mind and body. Each class builds on the basic yoga postures (asanas) and breathing techniques necessary to the development of spinal alignment, strength & flexibility, and heightened overall well-being that are the hallmark of a regular yoga practice.

Free Preview - All classes are free Jan. 17th - 22nd.

Space availability is on a first come basis. No classes over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend or during Spring Break. Classes run January 17th through May 4th.

Sunrise Yoga

Start your morning with this Sunrise Yoga class and watch the sun come up over the eastern plains. This beginning/intermediate class is open to anyone who wants to wake up to refreshing relaxation. All Classes meet in the Group Fitness Studio.

Not Quite Sunrise Yoga

Not quite awake at 7:00am? Try our Not Quite Sunrise Yoga class "slightly after" sunrise. It's still a great way to start the day. M,W class meets in the Group Fitness Studio; T,R meets in the Mat Room.

Beginning/Continuing Yoga

This Beginning/Continuing Yoga class is for both beginning yoga students and for those continuing students looking to refine their understanding of basic yoga postures and moves.

Lunchtime Yoga

Join us for our Lunchtime Yoga class which meets three days a week. Relax and unwind between classes or work with this beginner level yoga class, designed especially for the noon-time crowd. Class meets in the Group Fitness Studio.

Intermediate Yoga

This Intermediate Yoga class is for the individual with previous yoga experience who is interested in the whole yoga practice. The participant should know pranayama and asanas, and be ready to incorporate meditation techniques. All classes meet in the Matroom.
