Child Care Center
Who can use the Children's Center?
Drop-in childcare is available for Recreation Center members while working out in the facility. Parents may bring ONLY their own children to the center. In order to provide the highest quality care, space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
General Information
We accept children aged six months to eight years. Parents must be in the facility while their children are in the center. Registration forms must be filled out prior to use of the center.
There is a minimum $2.00 charge per child per hour and fees are charged on the quarter hour beyond the minimum fee. There is a two-hour maximum time limit per child. Snacks (not meals) for children are permitted, but must be provided by parents. Parents must provide all diapers, wipes, bottles, and other necessities.
A maximum child/staff ratio of five to one is maintained for children under five years of age. We do not accept sick children; any child who appears ill may be refused admittance. Entry is only allowed through the main entrance to the Children's Center, not through the back door of the Rec Center.
Location
The Children's Center is located just beyond, and to the left of, the Intramural office on the lower level of the Main Recreation Center. We invite you to come see the center with your family at any time we are open.

- How much does it cost?
- The fee is $2.00 per hour, per child. There is a minimum charge of $2.00 per child and fees will be charged on the quarter hour beyond the minimum fee. Payment is made at the cashier's desk and a receipt is brought to the children's center to be recorded. Parents may either pay for a single day's care or make a larger payment to cover future visits.
