Like most universities with buildings dating to the 1970s, the CU-Boulder campus includes a number of facilities built with materials that contain asbestos. To help in the prevention of unnecessary disturbance of asbestos, it is important for you to not disturb any building materials in CU-Boulder facilities. Look for recycling containers in and around every campus building where you can recycle co-mingled containers, office paper, newspapers and their inserts, magazines, catalogs and phonebooks, and corrugated cardboard. CU Recycling is a partnership between UCSU, Facilities Management, and the Department of Housing and Dining Services.
