What do I need to prepare for orientation?

The information on the Orientation Web site will help you get ready for your orientation, advising, and registration session. Please read all information carefully and come to campus prepared. Orientation web site

What housing options are offered at CU-Boulder?

As a freshman, you are required to live in a residence hall for two academic-year semesters (fall and spring) provided that space is available, unless you leave school or receive written permission to live off campus (with parents or relatives) from the reservations supervisor. You can find information regarding the different residence halls on the housing web site.

For continuting students, you may reapply to continue living in a residence hall after your freshman year. To do so, you'll need to apply in the spring (during a period announced by the Department of Housing). If you choose to live off campus, Off-Campus Student Services maintains computerized listings of places for rent and of students looking for roommates. Go to the Off-Campus Student Services web page at www.colorado.edu/OCSS, call 303-492-7053, or pick up a copy of the listings in the office in UMC 313. Check the campus and local newspapers for roommate opportunities as well.

For more detailed information about housing options, check out the housing section in Ralphie's Guide.

How do I change my address through the CU website?

To change your address, go to the PLUS web site at plus.colorado.edu and log in. Once you log in, select the link on the left that says Address/PIN change. When that page opens up, you will have two options, one to change your PIN and one to change your address information. When you select address change, it will walk you through the address change process and then update all of your information online when you are finished.
