Everyone's a Critic
Saturday, May 10, 2008, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Atlas 1B31
Ever read a book that you absolutely loved and wanted everyone to know? Or seen a film and disliked it so much you felt it your duty to warn others? Through a book or film review you can evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of a work while bringing to bear your own personal flair and style. Of course, that's why a good review is so much fun to read! In this workshop, participants will learn the conventions of book and film reviews, write a review, and finally revise this review in a workshop.
