Researcher Responsibilities

This page is to provide information to the faculty researchers of the President's Teaching and Learning Collaborative cohorts so that they have a clear understanding of the deadlines for the stages of their research and are provided with links to help them complete their research. Because there have been changes in dates for each cohort we have prepared time-lines for each cohort for you convenience.

This is an immediate step for 2011/12 President’s Teaching and Learning Collaborative faculty researchers because your Campus Faculty Director will assist in learning how to establish institutional approval for your research project. Be forewarned, this will take both time and assistance.

July 2011     

Summer 2011
  • Consider applying for PTLC Research funds with Terry Pew, Director, Budget and Finance. Email Terry at Terry.Pew@cu.edu. For questions Terry can also be reached at (303) 860-5727. The form for requesting these funds was attached to your acceptance email from Mary Ann Shea in July, 2011
  • Funds must be requested by June 29, 2012
September 16, 2011
  • Collaborative-wide launch meeting and poster session: 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Anschutz Medical Campus, Research 2 Building (RC2), Trivisible Room (P15-2100). Attendance Required
  • PTLC 2011-12 Cohort Researchers must have IRB approval completed
Winter 2012
  • Data Collection and early data analysis
Spring 2012
  • Data analysis and writing

  • PTLC 2011/ 12 Cohort Researchers must submit a written accounting of expended PTLC Research funds to Terry Pew, Director, Budget and Finance. Email accounting to Terry at Terry.Pew@cu.edu. For questions Terry can also be reached at (303) 860-5727
  • Deadline for 2011/12 Researchers to request extension for a 2nd year in the cohort. No additional funds for a 2nd year of participation
